Jr Teachers
Hey! I’m River. I’ve been dancing since I was three years old! I love being in the studio dancing my heart out; onstage is where I feel the most at home. I have been assisting dance classes since I started competing when I was 10 and I love working with young children to improve their dance skills! I’ve got my Standard First Aid and I have also worked with kids as a camp counsellor, at a sleep away camp this summer! My favourite styles of dance are musical theatre and tap, but I also love contemporary/lyrical, acro and ballet! I always have been and always will be a dancer at heart and being able to pass this love on to younger dancers is one of my favourite things in the world.
Hi, I'm Miss Aubrey. I have danced at 3M Dance Works for 6 years. Dance has my whole heart. Ever since I was 5, I’ve loved to dance. Choosing to dance at 3MDW was the best decision I’ve made. Throughout my 6 years here, I have made many friends that I now call family. I’ve been given so many opportunities that have shaped me to become who I am today. I attended the Toronto Dance Teacher Expo, where I earned certificates from Acrobatic Arts, PAEC, Discover Dance, and Intellidance. I have won Dancer of the Year two times, as well as Assistant of the Year, 3 years in a row. Being an assistant has been so fun. I’ve been able to choreograph some dances as well as lead my own class. I enjoy seeing the kids faces light up when they learn a new trick or move. It’s cool to watch them step out of their comfort zones when trying a new style. I do all styles of dance, but jazz is definitely my favourite. Dance is my everything and I am so grateful that I get to do it with the people I love most. 3MDW has changed my life for the better. I’m so excited for the new season and my new role as a Junior Teacher, training to be a Dance Teacher! :)
Hello! My name is Miss Leah. This will be my 6th year of dancing with 3M Dance Works and I’m beyond excited to see what this year brings! My favourite style of dance is Ballet but I also really enjoy the energy of Jazz. Last season I won Assistant of the Year as well as a Ballet Excellence Award and Most Potential Intermediate/Senior Dancer. I am thrilled this year to be a Junior Teacher!
Outside of dance, you’ll find me on the slopes where I am a certified Level 1 Ski Instructor. This certification gives me the ability to train and improve skiers that are new to the industry.
